Think Again!
For thirty years, Tree of Life Nursery has been growing California native plants for the landscaping trade, and year after year we are faced with the same question: “What native plants are comparable to the common and traditional ornamental plants consistently chosen today?” Now we are answering this question with the newly revised “Handy Plant Re-Specifier.”
The “Re-Specifier” is not the final step for selecting native plant material for your projects, but rather a tool to assist those familiar with the growth habits of ornamental plants in becoming more familiar with native plant material. The “Re-Specifier” lists common ornamental Trees, Shrubs, Groundcovers and Perennials that you may automatically think of, and asks you to “think again” about using comparable native plant material instead.
